FINDING COLLECTED WORKS IN THE VASSAR LIBRARY-SEARCH CATALOG

1. Use the ADVANCED search to Select Books, Articles, Media, & More
2. Using the pull-down menu indicated by arrows:
3. Do an "author/ creator" search by using the pull-down menu (by the arrow): for the composer's name
4. Do a "title" search using the pull-down menu (by the arrow): to select a title search
5. Add material type "scores"  (upper right)
6. Press "search" (lower right.)

FINDING COLLECTED WORKS IN VASSAR'S CARD CATALOG

If you do not find the series you are searching in the VASSAR LIBRARY-SEARCH CATALOG, check the Music Library card catolog.

1. Go to the books/scores section of the card catalog (first three columns)
2. Find the composer's name
3. You will likely find a number of cards under the composer's name.  The card(s) for the collected works will come first, followed by cards for particular compositions in alphabetical order
4. Example: Palestrina Collected Works: Card Catalog Cards
