Usually, there is no charge, but some libraries do charge for lending.

Please indicate on the request form the highest fee you are willing to pay. We will try to fill your request free of charge or at the lowest fee possible.

Interlibrary Loan is a service we offer to help you get books and articles (and sometimes other items) not in Vassar's collections.

There are three different services we use:

ConnectNY

ILLiad

Nexpress

• VC faculty and their spouses/domestic partners
• Administrators
• Staff
• Currently enrolled students.

Questions about your ILL request? Call ILL, ex. 5765 (weekdays 8:30-5:00) or email ill@vassar.edu. ILL Office is located in the staff corridor of the library, last door on the left (Room 146) and is staffed weekdays 8:30-5:00.
